It would be with unwitting pretence.
For what have I learnt from this lesson,
Or have I prepared for this test?
Have I been any more than being?
I have not been wise, that I confess.
Humbling was his nature, the sincerity
With which he gave his love.
A character so formidable,
Yet his self he thought not of.
He left carrying heartfelt good deeds done in God's name...
